EA UW discussion groups and courses

Let us know what interests you, with no commitment to take part. Once we have a suitable group and moderators, we will arrange dates together. We cannot yet guarantee that a group will start soon.

Materials are in English. Discussions are in Polish; if a participant does not speak Polish, we will switch to English.

Would you prefer to join a programme outside UW?

You can apply directly to the Effective Altruism Foundation’s Polish programme or CEA’s English-language courses, without waiting for a UW group. Dates and admission are set by each organiser; every application is separate.

Intro: Introductory Program to Effective Altruism

Five meetings about how to help effectively in matters such as global health, animal welfare, and the risks of the upcoming future.

We will agree the dates and format once enough people are interested. Expressing interest does not guarantee a place.

What happens to your data?

The SKN Effective Altruism UW team uses your details to contact you and organise your selected courses. Access is restricted to the team handling applications. We keep this new submission until you withdraw consent, or delete it earlier when it is no longer needed for this purpose. This does not extend the retention period of earlier submissions.

We do not forward your submission to the Effective Altruism Foundation, CEA, BlueDot or Biosecurity Poland, or automatically subscribe you to a newsletter. Applications on other organisers’ websites are separate and follow their privacy policies.

Form data is handled using Cloudflare and Airtable. To access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, email [email protected].
